Best Phosphate Remover

What is the best method to remove phosphates? I tested mine and they are at .1 and I have a bit of a hair algea problem that I would like to take care of before it gets out of hand. Do people have luck with the phosphate pads? phosban reactor?

Have a sump you can add cheato too? I've heard of the above mentioned working but never tried them personally.

I put a phosphate pad in my canister filter and have chaeto in my refugium. Combo works great.
Also, try to minimize flake foods, as they are high in phosphates.

i dont feed flake food and have cheato in my sump but I will get come more. I will also try one of the pads. thanks

I use the Poly Filter Phosphate Pad. Most LFSs carry them.

I've used Phosban in the past. ROWAphos is supposed to be very good too.
Do you have a reactor that you could put the media in?

I use rowaphos along with chaetomorpha.

No idea, I use the granular stuff and replace every 3 months.
