whats the best most reliable external ..used for a closed loop type systen?..probably around the 2000gph range?From experience of trying these products..thanks all

ive bin looking a bit lets add also afordable ...not cheap but affordable..like 300$ are max..for say 2000gph give or take a few hundred

more i look for the price these dolphin pumps have to be crap...especially fo what im looking for ..just to cheap ..excuse the pun" but a bit fishy"...

Pan World pumps are great! They are essentially the same thing as the Japanese motored Iwaki pumps. The story goes that a former Iwaki engineer took the Japanese Iwaki design to Pan World (sometimes referred to as Blueline) where Iwaki clones are marketed. They are about 10-15% cheaper than Iwaki pumps and supposedly run a little quieter, but I can't tell the difference.

Dolphins are crap... I've sent 4 2100's back in a year with seals leaking. They have now come up with a new abrasive proof seal for 100 more bucks... I just sent the one I have now back for the new seal to be installed that should have been in there in the first place. Dolphin is charging me shipping and 85 bucks for the new seal. The pump is only a few months old. I keep a spare on hand at all times. I would suggest NOBODY design a system around these pumps. Oh they blame me for the faulty seals because of "Bad prefiltering" Hmm, then why did they redesign the seal??? Could it be they were having problems?

just bought the Pan World Magnetic Water Pumps ...250PS 1900gph 45' 390W 1" MPT / 1" MPT 14"x5"x6.75" 100RLT ..an a mag 2400 for a return pump...just wait just placed order

Sequence was the way to go on a closed loop. I can't think of a better pump. They are definitely the quietest, most efficient with electricity, and have some of the highest build quality I've seen.
