Best RO/DI unit?

Will be setting up a 55gal reef tank. Looking to buy a RO/DI unit. any advice on the Corallife, seachem or others? ALso would a 50gal unit be adequate?

i have a corallife 4 stage 50gpd unit which im very happy with..$155 shipped.takes about 2 hours to fill a 5g container..u don't need a overly expensive unit...ppl have units from ebizzy and say they work great..remember to get a tds meter to see how well its working..

+1 for the coralife - I have the same unit and it works very well. the one thing I'll warn you about is watch the inlet water pressure. I had too much pressure and blew off one of the hoses - I got a face full and my girlfriend got a funny story. I still need to buy the tds meter - but it's coming. I have a 40 gal reef and fill up a 5 gal container to mix salt and 2 2.5 gals for fresh water top offs.

i wish someone had told be about the water pressure thing before i turned mine on the first time...

Also maybe check out the Airwaterice word on Google. They have some of the best!!!!! Fair pricing too........Plus free TDS meters with each unit.......

i would go with a specterpure system, i have a maxi cap system. work well ,has tds meters built in. have not had anyproblem what so ever with it. the only draw back is price.

************** all the way!! I bought there 75 gpd 5 stage plus system about a month ago, and I absolutely LOVE it! Shipping was fast, it fit right into my budget and it was super easy to assemble. And I get 0 tds water even before the DI resin.

Don't quote me on this, research it first. I think that spectrapure is the same thing as the bulk reef supply one. The only difference is the spectrapure costs more.
