Best Saltwater Mix To Use??

Is there a best brand of saltwater mix for a Reef Tank? Tropic Marin, Instant Ocean, Reef Crystals, etc.

Well I use Instant Ocean but if you want a reef set0up tank you should use Reef Crystals

Yea reef crystals contain extra calcium, which is supposed to be for corals and what not

I've only every used Tropic Marine Pro and I like it---my LFS only uses it in its 35+ tanks.

Is that what the deal is???? I have always used Instant Ocean, but my calcium has always been a struggle to keep up. I didn't know there was that big of a difference

If you want a serious SPS tank then go with Tropic Marin Pro if not IO will do just fine IMO.

as stated depends on what your tank is to what is going to be the best salt for you some salts hold a better clcium then what other do. I would personally only use IO if I was doing a FO tank.

I like the red sea pro mix myself I used it on the last tank I set up with great results. but I havent used the others to see what differences they have. my next tanks I setu pI will use a different brand again and use the red sea for my main tank as I know it LOL
