Best Sand Sifters

I want people's oppinions on the best sand sifting/cleaning fish...
In my experience, the best sandbed cleaner i have ever had was the Gold cheek sleeper goby. The minute i droped him in, he was going to work on that sandbed. within an hour, it was the cleanest it had ever been since the day i first added it to my tank. AMAZING
What about you guys?

Queen Conches keep my bed sparking even from brown slime alage.

I vote Diamond goby -- I guess because that's all I really knew that sifted sand!! and they are sooo cute.
I don't have him anymore, he committed harakiri -- jumped out of my tank. I haven't replaced him yet.

The golden headed sleeper goby may make the sand bed clean but he aslo is eating the beneficial inhabitants that makes the sandbed "live".

they do keep the sand nice and clean....but I know mine makes a HUGE mess! I have to take a turkey baster and clean the sand off my rocks every few days b/c he makes such a mess!! Cute little fish but sometimes I wonder if hes worth it!!!

Oh yes, those Diamond Gobies can make a mess and if you have any corals or so, It might be a disaster!!!! IF you get a DG at a LFS, watch their behavior, you will be amazed on the overt personality of each DG!!

I had a huge algae problem on my live sand. Bought a dragon goby about a month ago and he is worth his weaight in gold. No more algae and he keeps the sand stirred. Worth every penny!!!

My favorite is the Dragon Goby.
I also have 2 white sand stars which do a good job, and i also have about 100 cerith snails which keep multiplying.

Has anyone else hear about this? I just got a Golden Headed Sleeper Goby and I think he is a great addition to my tank. If he is not healthy for the tank though.....he is toast!

i wish mine would but my hermits i think are taking them out of commission

i have a dragon goby,,i wish i would have never got him,,,i have been trying for weeks now to get him out,,hes a fast little buger let me tell you....he makes a mess of everything,,my water looks cloudy all the time...and my clams i am so worried that i am going to loose them due to him dumping sand on them.....bad mistake,,if i ever get him out,,i will never buy another one...have a great day..

i have 2 hermits wearing my turbos shells now (and i only had 3 turbos)... i have a little cc mixed in with part of my sand, could i get a lawn mover or is it not safe???

a lawn mower is awesome, you will totally enjoy him,,i am not sure about the cc,,i would diffenetly get another opinion...have a great night....

I have a lawn mower, doesn't do much with the sand bed though. Works on the glass and rock, but I have never seen him work on the sand bed.
