Best Skimmer and Wet Dry for 55 gal?

What is probably the best skimmer (preferably hang on but may get sump soon) and Wet Dry filter (I'll need a overflow box with it though, tank is NOT drilled, it is glass) for a 55 gal.
Also do you guys know anything about the marineland tidepool bio wheel filter w/ sump and silent overflow box? It seemed to have an interesting design.

IMO a amiracle mini quad is the best for a 55, i had one and loved it, very easy to adjust and skimms like crazy.
I dont think they even make wet drys HOB, IMO a good caister filter would be better, like a fluval 405

I would set up the sump if you can. If you have the room. I could not fit even a 10 gallon in my 55 stand. So i went wetdry.
I have a 125g rated proclear wetdry on my 55 that fits inside my stand from

. But i'm going with a sump on my new 90g tank.
I seen some hang on wetdry filters but i think the you would be better off with a standard one instead of a hangon. Easier to clean and probably cheaper.

the coralife super skimmer 65 to me is the best for the money in todays market - it will adapt to a sump as well as hang on model . very little trouble - great customer service backing them and trouble free.
lots of bells and whistles with the flow controls also.
only drawback is the size of the return flow difuser box if using it as a hang on . a little modification with some pvc pipe can correct this also.
