I have a Euro Reef, not sure of the model number, but it is awesome. Easy to clean, easy to maintain and essentially plug and play. It did however cost around $230.00 and that was 2 years ago, but it was definatley money well spent. I went the cheap route at first and bought a Sea Clone, but regretted that. I'm glad I got the Euro-Reef and will never second guess that purchase.

SEACLONE!!! COUGH COUGH! Sorry i had something in my throat. But really i have no problems with my CPR bak-pak. it started collecting as soon as i plugged it in. But the best i have heard of is...
Deltec Ap 1004 with self cleaning capabilities
Cleaning the skimmers:
The Deltec skimmer has self cleaning capabilities. There is a brush in the neck of the skimmer that rotates and cleans the skimmer’s neck every 6 hours. There is also a cup flushing mechanism that rinses the collection cup every 12 hours. The only other maintenance that I perform is to clean the self cleaning brushes twice a month.
You can see this by going to oregonreef.com
But i think that might be slightly out of the $150 range

I have a CPR Bak-Pak and it starting collecting gunk ASAP. I haven't had a problem with it since I bought it. I would recommend it.

The super skimmer from Coralife is what I am running of my 65gl. They are not very expensive. You can get a 125 for about $130.00 online. Mine pulls some nasty extremly FOUL smeling brown putty out of it. Work really well in my opinion. Plus has a 100% 1year guarentee with the manufacturer. Its hang on sump or in sump. Comes with a Rio pump. A good skimmer IMO.
