Mudd is great for rooted plants. because the roots are able to pull nutriants from the mud. floating and rock atached macros are just above the mud and unable to benifit from mud. rubble rock is great in any fuge, it helps with bio filtration and it is a great home for pods. I have heard that mud is too heavy and it compacts tightly so that copods have a hard time reproducing. but Ive not seen that myself.
