yes salifert are drops and test tubes. Colour change is exceptionally good and very easy to use. Will be a good investment they are not expensive either.

I like Red Sea Pro and Salifert test kits. They're similar in some ways, and different in others. Might be best to stick with one or the other so you don't get confused and have to read the instructions before each and every use. Don't ask how I know... lol! With RSP, you add a specific amount of reagents, wait a specific amount of time, and match to the closest color. This will give a reading within a specific "range". With Salifert kits, you add the final reagent until there is a definite color change, after which you read the amount of reagent used to get a reading. If I had choose between the two for precise accuracy, I'd go with Salifert.

Salifert is good on a budget! I like them and they are pretty easy to use.

If you are going to get more into technicalities like calcium, alkalinity and magnesium, Seachem makes great test kits, although they are kind of expensive.
