Best time for testing?

I was wondering if there was a "best" time for doing the water tests?
Before lights are on? While they are on? morning, night? etc.

I say during the day. Don't know about everyone else but I do have a slight PH swing at night. I have read that it is normal though.

Yeah, this is what I have read too. My vote is mid-day (in tank) if possible, otherwise, testing anytime is better than no testing.
