I gotta get my clown goby out, the little ahole keeps niping my monti's and acro. What would be the best way to extract him without taking my LR down?

here's a good DIY fish trap that you can make with a soda bottle:
cut a soda bottle right above the label, where the straight sides become curved sides. you'll have what looks like a funnel. take the label off and clean the bottle out real good. insert the top of the bottle (without cap on it, of course) into the bottom part, so the threaded top part is close to the bottom of the lower half. put some of your clown gobies favorite food in the trap. it will be a lot easier for the fish to swim in, than swim out. once the fish is in the trap, just remove the trap with the fish in it!. much easier than tearing apart your aquascape!

Risking getting flamed, if it is just a small clown goby get a larger diameter tube, and start a siphon, and suck him out of the tank and into a bucket or container. Then again I just got home from the bar

since the fish is so small, its going to be hard to get out. how big is ur monti or acros? occasionally nipping wont really hurt the, i hv a blenny that does that same to my acros. but since the acros r so big, it doesnt really so much damage overall. u can leave it in there if its just nipping near the bottom of the acros.

Wish that would work for damsels...
Unless you see the flesh on the acros actually receeding I wouldn't be too worried. They like to live in all the branches.
