Best way to lay out rubble in fuge

Not sure if theres a special way to do it or if any which way is fine? I want to optimize my pod growth.

Mine is just tossed in, and pod hatching seem countinious. They are all in the rubbles and chaeto, even on the glass as well as mysis shrimp.
