Best way to view aquarium at night?

How do you view your aquarium at night? How do you find those hidden creatures? Post some pics,list some details give away your secrets. I myself will ocassionally flash light my tank or just use my lunar lights. what do you do?

Idk just search around, I usually see some peanut worms comming out of their holes to search for some food. If u really want to see some night activity throw in some food while the lights are off, that should bring some stuff out.

If you cant find a red lens, just color the lens with a permanent marker. Color the inside of the lens so that it doesnt get smeared or scraped up.

If you don't have a red lense I've read that some people here cover their flashlights with red syran (sp) wrap or red tissue paper.
 
i didnt have any of the above so i used the red parrt of a grocery bag to cover the lens. worked pretty good. found a pretty interesting snail thing. lots going on in the dark.
 
honestly i dont know, i think the red jsut enables you to see more without disturbing the animals. my blue lunar lights dont provide enough for me to see everything.
