Beth, an ideas on that food inquiry?

Well has the laundry list as usual, but one of the lesser (at the end) is copper sulphate, and ferrous sulfate.
There are others it seems who have been using this food without knowing it had copper in it to include people with shrimp and the shrimp eat it...

No, I haven't heard of it....but food should be generally safe for all creatures. What are the ingredients?

Gotta sign off-Revival at church tongiht!! But, Unleashed want to thank you for your indepth response. My fish love this food (and so do my shrimp as noted earlier) and it is reassuring to know that it is harmless, yea, beneficial to them.

Good reason to go fresh foods, imo. I don't like the packaged food basically because of the nitrates.
While copper, of course, is a natural element, in the closed system, dosing with added copper will have an accumulative effect. Obviously, copper is not desirable in a reef tank.
