I do have a question about this hypo stuff. I only have a 10 gallon for my QT and do not have a skimmer for it. I have found high levels of Ammonia every other day so I do a complete water change using water from my DT and RODI to bring the levels down to what the fish is in now. I have had to do 2 complete water changes in the 10 gallon in the last 5 days because of so much Ammonia. The fish has dropped most of the ich and is eating ALOT. I am down to 1.011. how long do I leave him at that level before slowly bringing him back up????????
BTW: I love this site. I have found so much information that has been very useful in my search for a joyful tank.........
Thanks all

Hog, please take a look at the info that is posted on ich, and hyposalinity in the FAQ Thread at the top of this site.
What are you using to measure salinity?

I have a refractometer that should be configured correctly at 68 degrees... I am just a little worried about the ammonia and lowering the sal any more.....
Thanks for the response.......
