i have to get a QT tank set up
ahh what a pain in the buttocks

i have tanks all over my house

i QT all my prized goldfish, im a dummy for not QT'ing marine fish or corals.
i have other reef tanks set up now for awhile, i wont add anything else to their tanks, no corals anymore nothing...im toooo scared now.
the only problem ive had with those tanks are clowns constantly carpet surfing

dang those lil buggers wont stay put

look into egg crate at any home store you can cut it around pumps and plumbing so that you get rid of that urg LOL
I have about 10 tanks setup right now so I know what you mean.

Trust me, marine velvet is no where near as common as marine ich, though, many hobbyist assume their fish has this disease, when they don't. Not saying your fish didn't, though. It is out there and fish do get it.

I love quarantine. Your fish get a chance to be spoiled without other fish around and if disease is present then you can treat right away. For non fish it is only 3 weeks.
