I'm going to add a LTA in my tank soon and was wondering if buying two wild perc clowns from this site would give me a better chance to host?

Buy tank raised clowns. Wild caught have a very poor survival rate and are likely to have parasites. Also tank raised will go into an anemone. Them hosting in an anemone is a instinct not something to choose to do or not. You just have to provide your clownfish with the right anemone(the one they naturally host with out in the wild) and you should have them host for sure. They may or may not host in other anemones.

lol...I just had the biggest debate in another forum about wild caught vs. tank bred clowns with hosting anemones. I said it there and I will say it again, you cannot alter the instincts of a clownfish to host their natural anemone. Tank bred or wild caught, any clownfish will take to their natural anemone in captivity. If your providing an anemone in a tank with clownfish that don't naturally host it, then clowns will be less likely to host it.
