better mouse trap for controlling lights

I am looking for a better solution to control my lights and fans and I was wondering if there was something geared for this industry? Right now I have 6 single timers and would like to get 1 control box with multiple inputs and outputs.
Anyone know of such a beast?

There is a technology called X-10 that allows one to control lights and other devices via your house wiring and your computer. It is not specify for the aquarium but I already control many of my house lights plan to do some of the control of my aquarium.

there is also a new powerstrip that is coming out in a few months made by E.S.U, th esame people who make coralife bulbs.....its really cool, i saw it at a pet trade show! it is a power strip with a built in timer, 12 total slots, 6 of which are controlled by the timer, in groups...it has a block of 3 blue outlets, adn a block of three yellow outlets, each of which can be controlled independantly by the timer for use as a wavemaker, etc....the other 6 outlets ont he strip are on all t he time!
keep your eyes open for it!
good luck
