hi, i was just wondering if it would be ok to keep a bicolor angel in a 55g? any one know? has anyone done this w/success?

My sister in law kept one in a 55, as far as swimming room, he seemed happy. But she had no LR so I think it starved to death.

Ya its ok 2 keep a bicolor in a 55g as long as the water is good and plenty of places 2 hide and swim. It is a very pretty fish and good luck!!!

definitely is okay as long as the tank is established and there is a sufficient amount of live rock with good water quality maintained.

Yup. As mentioned you should have lotsa LR for the Bicolor to graze on. They seem to be more of a voracious grazer than other Dwarf Angel species, and IMO are less hardy than others as well.
