I like the BiColor Angel, any thoughts/feelings/opinions? Easy? Hard? Whatever you'd like to share.
I have a 55 gal, 55 lbs of LV with 3 little clowns, a royal gramma and sally lightfoot...

It's not the hardiest of dwarf angels. Pretty fish but many don't do well long term. Your tank size is fine, as are the tank mates. If the tank is well established (6 months or better) and you water parameters are good, you can try it. I've kept one before. Feed it a good variety of meaty foods, along with regular greens, pellets, some occasional flake, etc..

I was also looking to put a bicolor angel in my tank once I get it. Its an amazing looking fish. So with a proper diet and good water quality they should be ok? The only somewhat aggressive fish I was planning to get was a purple tang. Tank will be a 125 gallon btw. Any more info on the bicolor angel will be greatly appreciated.

I kept one for maybe about a month. Finally one day it disappeared and I found it dead under a rock. This may be because I bought it from *****. You'll have better luck if you get it from a better source. They are very beautiful fish.

The challenge with Bicolors are getting them to eat a proper diet. If that can be accomplished then there will be a good chance of survival if they were collected in a good manner.

I had bicolor angels before its true they are hard to take keep because they are hard to feed. My LFS had a shipping of Bicolor angels that came from VANAUTU. I saw them acclimating the fish on their tanks and feed them. They eat like pigs knowing that they just arrived its pretty unusual. My advice if you can get Bicolor angel that came from VANAUTU island those are the ones that eat rightaway.
