im not sure if mine is eating or not. ive had him about a week now. he swims around the tank like a maniac, swimming next to the powerheads, swimming in circles, and going from cave to cave. is this normal for a bicolor? are they skiddish? all my tank parameters are fine. its a 75 gallon. hes the only fish in there along with some inverts. i feed purple seaweed, frozen brine shrimp, freeze dried brine shrimp, and flake food. when i feed, it seems like he swims around the tank alot more, although he doesnt eat anything that i can see. should i try and feed after dark? or can they not see in the dark? any suggestions/comments?

hopefully he is not a cyanide collected fish, my bicolor eats pellets, mysis and brine shrimp eagerly. hopefully he is still adjusting to captive life/food and will began eatiing soon. Do you have any microalgae growing in your tank yet, this helps provide a natural food source and they like lots of live rock with caves to feel less stressed, good luck as bicolors are my favorite angelfish!!!

thanx marine man. i have about 30 pounds of live rock all and all. started off at 10, with 50 pounds of base, but the base rock is crawling with life now. and i have tons of algae, various types, also diatom and hair(not excited about those) and my coraline algae is spreading too, so im sure i have more kinds, but i am just not trained to see them. he doesnt look skinny, so im guessing thats a good sign, and shows he is eating something
