Do we really need two threads about the same topic ?

I don't know and certainly the pointy-headed scientist who kneel down and worship (by faith) at the alter of evolution don't know. But it beats having to think about there being a God out there.

How so?
What God?
Yes, theory contains an element of faith. However, science adapts when proven wrong. Religion does not.
Galileo was recommunicated when?

Two problems with your last post:
1) I didn't say there was a God, I said it was a way to explain away the possibility of a God.
2) Any scientist who publicly states their belief that there may be a God somehow involved is excommunicated by scientists.
Since I'm not a Catholic, I don't have to defend the stupidity of stupid men who called themselves, "God on Earth". Folks who believed like me were tortured and killed by the same people who persecuted scientists.

I'm curious, if evolution is true, where did we get wright and wrong from? Why do we always say 'God bless America' and 'In God we trust' on money if evolution is true?

CK, man you're great(I don't mean that sarcastically), I like the way you think. But life-long agnostics and atheists are gonna eat that statement for dinner. They are going to say, "Because that's what religious nuts think. Not that it is true. And those same nuts want to cram their religion down everyone's throat."

Thanks!

Also, evolution is the same thing as putting a bunch of airplane parts on the floor and just waiting until it turns into a full functioning airplane. Its not going to happen! Someone has to make it.

Fair enough. We've had this discussion before, however.

That's entirely fair too.
I did not say there was no God myself.
I am simply unable to accept that the Christian version of "God" is the Truth.
It's all supposition. If the bible is correct in its assertations, then its religions cannot be correct in putting said "God" in a box.
At that point it seems to me that a 13.3 billion year old universe is more believable than a white bearded ape-like being in whose image we were supposedly created.

Why do you say that hes a ape-like being?

Actually, the airplane parts being not alive, it's not comparable at all.
Life defies the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
Tell me why.
