Big fish

I want one fish that stands out in my tank. Not now, but when I am more experienced. I am not ready for any fish yet. I am interested in 3 different fish, that happen to get big. Can anyone tell me about lion fish, dragon wrasse, porcupine fish. i am only going to have one of these big fish in the tank, and that is it. When they get to big I am going to sell them back to the local fish store. I knew that I should have gotten a bigger tank.
Thanks all!!!

Are you sure the LFS will take them back? Some won't if the fish are very large. Just a consideration.

Our porcupine puffer has grown to 15 inches and our lion fish is about 8 in. other tankmates our 7 in. clown trigger, 7 in. niger trigger, 9 in. stars & stripes puffer, and 6 in. orange toadfish.
All in an 125 gallon tank.

We have a baby lionfish in our 20 gallon.........lots of room for him now, but we're going up in size in a few months. He has the tank all to himself except for the cleanup crew and a couple of damsels. Lionfish are great..........but, just my opinion, why buy a fish that you know you're going to have to give back? We would be bummed if we had to give back any of ours!

Right JP, never buy a fish you know you can't look after for the remainer of its life. But doesn't your lionfish eat your clean-up crew?

You have Two Triggers And Two Puffers in your tank with your Lionfish??
It sound s a bit crowded, But I'm not here to Bash you for that...;)
Actually I would like to add a Puffer to My tank with My Lion but I have heard so many negative comments about Triggers and Puffers with Lions, how they nip the fins off the Lion
But then I hear from people that actually have this combo...
How long have you had this combo? Noticed any aggression or curiosity from puffs and trigs towards the plumage on the Lion?

none of the fish pick on any of the others, although the clown trigger picks at the puffers spines when she puffs up never hurts the puffer. The puffer puffs about once a day for about 3 minutes and floats in the current.
As for the amount of fish I have, I use 3 different filters with bio- beds and a couple of power heads to insure that there are no dead spots in the tank.
Water nitrites 0
ph 8.3
ammonia 0
nitrates 20
temp 78
salinity 1.021
no live rock because we have treated with copper before we knew any better [ lfs recomended it]
