If I remember correctly, that picture is from an article regarding giant mantis shrimp in some Hawaiin canal.
Actually, I have had mantis shrimp before. We got a bunch of them casnetting for regular white shrimp one time. Steamed them with the rest of the shrimp. They were quite good....
