Big o' bristle worm

I was moving some of my rock around to try a catch the gobie and I just found out that I have a bristle worm that is about 2 inches long and about an 1/8 of an inch wide. I put him in a cup.
Should I put him back in the tank?I do not have a sump or fuge.
Thanks

get rid of him it's obvios it's been a while since you played worm hunter lol
if you have good sized ones in there you KNOW you have plenty of small ones

I think most of us do "I do"
even if you have things that eat them they won't really keep the population down like you may think
when they get big "yours isn't THAT big" they don't do much beneficial clean up IMO
they seem to poop more then they eat lmao
and some people worry about them when they're bigger
I don't like em so I do worm hunter every so often "when I'm board and feel like making a mess"
just to keep the population at bay

A bristle worm of that size probably is no risk to any live and healthy creature. Instead it is more likely a positive part of a thriving eco-system and should be left alone.
Now ... if you find one like this remove it ....

nm thats what I had in mind when I seen this post lol
you could leave it but when I get ahold of decent sized ones I toss them as I know there are plenty of lil ones that are going to eat crap and grow,
better to have a bunch of small ones that have yet to grow then a couple big ones
imo

That worm makes me feel better about the unknown hitch hiker I discovered last night. Mine is much smaller and it is white. It looks like a centipede and it just has me all twisted.
