Big Problem: Need advice

This evening, I walked in to find that my water heater had exploded and there were sparks flying through my tank. I've only had the heater for about a week. I'm going to send it back and get a refund. Luckily, I dont have any fish yet but I do have about 28 lbs of live rock. Would this jolt have hurt the rock? If so, am I being stupid in asking for replacements to be made or money to be sent so I can replace my live rock? Thanks

I would doubt seriously they would even consider replacing your LR, But you might want to read thier warranty info to see what they say!
I would also think , as much as it could hurt your LR, I would give it time to see how it reacts!
ALso How long has the tank been going?

I've had my tank for about a month. The heater is an Acura 100 Watt. It was shipped from Tetra warehouse.
