hey guys i really need help on my lighting choice. because of were im putting the tank my parents say i can't get mh so i wanted to go with 6x65 wats for my 75 reef. what can i keep and what can i not keep i really want clams and anemones
also guys would 3 2x96 wat pc retro kits let me keep everything?

This item is BRAND NEW with BULBS in box. It is a 48" BLACK Power Compact Ultra Reef Light with 6 x 65 watt bulbs and a powerful AC Fan to keep it cool.
The light is Glossy BLACK in color
Unit will have 6 led lunar lights in the unit as well.
It measures about 48" long x 11.5" wide and 4.5" high.
All bulbs included- Will include standard 4- 10k and 2- actinic Unless you specify otherwise in payment. You can mix and match as many 50.50, 6500k, 10k, and actinic bulbs you would like - just specify in your payment.
It has German polished mirror aluminum reflector
Unit comes with a 5-year warrenty on the electronic ballast, which produces low heat.
It has 3 independent switches (so you can add unit to timers) with moisture resistant covers and 3 grounded cords.
1- chord turns on 2 power compacts
1- chord turns on 4 power compacts
1 - chord controls moonlights- moonlights are dimmable and can be turned up or town depending on owners preferences.
It has a 3/16" thick Lexon high heat shield that slides over the fixture to prevent from splash.

if u can fit 6 65 watters why not go with 6 96 watters you'll be able to keep anything so long as the more light demanding stuff is in the top portion of the tank

Thats good lighting if you use the 6 watts per gallon rule.. But with a tank that size, the opinion on this board is go for the MH's and you won't be limited to what you can stock in the tank, coral wise!
But still pretty sufficient lighting.

do u have a wood canopy on ur tank bro? cause i just matched what u showed me "300$" to what i checked on and the price is about 20$ different :)

probably wouldnt be healthy or last more then a month or two IMO prolly move round lookin for a good spot no wood canopy huh?

if u have a canopy look at pc retrofits on a couple of the main sites like drs. and those others maybe even the big E! the price jump from 65 equal # of lamps to 96 is really pennies check it out and if u center them above the tank u should have no probs

thats not even the best place to buy them but look around a bit and do some internet searching you'll find em for like 100 bucks each for the double 96 watt kits W bulbs

with 7.6 watts a gal you should be straight even though u tank is a lil on the deep side for flourecent but if that what u have to go with u gotta make sure not to skimp and if ur canopy doesnt have some kind of vent holes u'll definitely need some kind of air movement u might even if there is some open spots
