i finally brought my tank back from the dead. it crashed about 4 months ago thanks to jbj and their supurb product quality(if any of you still use the stock jbj powerhead pump, get rid of it. the metal rusts over). anyway, here are some shots of the tank so far. i still have big plans for it. just upgraded to 70 watt MH thanks to bangguy. nothing special but hope u guys enjoy.

no there is a tiny 6 line wrasse in there as well. its a 12 gal. i dont like to have many fish, even though 2 is pushing the limit. i was reluctant to even add the 6 line!

wow, i thought it was a 24, just with a huge clown. I don't think 2 is pushing it, unless the 6 line gets huge or something. Nice tank, if i didn't say or imply that yet.

Hey bigpete, glad ot know you brought your tank back from the dead. As you know, my tank is gone but Nice to see you still have your tank running strong. How is the heating with the MH lights, as well as evaoporation? Did you get the hang on light or is your tank have the hood on it? Take care

thanks dude i hope everything is going well with your tank. i was so bummed when i heard your clam died, i love clams! anyway, evaporation is what it should be this time of year. not too bad, about a glass of RO water every day. there isnt much heat comming from the lights and i keep a fan on it durring the day to play it safe through the heat. and for the lights, they are on two stands above the tank. hanging it was just too much of a pain. thanks for the compliments, lemme know how your tank is doing and post pics soon.

In Hayward they have this awesome place called aquarium concepts...i go there a lot. and then a few places in san mateo... ultimate aquarium, fish for you, and down under tropical fish... in this store the manager doesn't have much to look at but he's really nice and willing to get anything you want... plus he's dirt cheap!...where do you go?

. anyway, im not sure if were supposed to mention other stores but email me and i'll give u a rundown. they are pretty much all in oakland/alameda.

Its great to see you made a comeback after the pump incident Big Pete. I just bought a 12 gal. JBJ for my wife's office and I swapped out the stock pump for a Maxijet 900 and just installed a Jacksdad surface skimmer.
Great tank!
:joy:
