at some point, for my wife's bday I will take her to see a broadway show. Just gotta save up for it and find some sucker to put up with our kids overnight. LOL
The best musical I saw, production and overall, was the disney production of beauty and the beast. I saw it in toledo with the broadway cast. It was a really great show. But we saw it at an average to below average theater so it could have been better.
Best place I have been to see a show was the Fox theater in detroit. That is where we saw Cats and the sound sucked. We could barely hear the actors on stage.
Best seats for a good show i saw was actually at disney world in orlando. The wife and I spent our honeymoon there and we wore the bride and groom hats everywhere. We saw that one of the theaters was doing beauty so we got in line for seats. As the ushers were seating us, one of them came up from the front and said to follow him. They gave us front row center for the show. Those hats also got us on the aerosmith coaster twice without waiting in line, free ice cream, other free foods and soda, no waiting on several smaller rides, and lots of applause and compliments. it probably is the best $20 I ever spent.
