Nissan,I have two heads of candycane and the tops are all white, they are on the bottom in the sand are they suppose to be white?

I am not 100%, but I think they were a little pinkish with green inside, I know they are still green inside.

Nothey were first like mid tank but they have been on the bottom for about 2 months now. Just curious is all.
I went to the LFS and bought somewhite stripe mushrooms and a little rock of GSP.
