Hey guys, im new to the bords.
I asked my lfs if an emperor filter would be good for my 55 gal that im setting up and he sead " If you use the bio wheels in salt water they will deteareat." Is this true?:notsure: please let me know.

No they will not degrade or where out over time they will spin slower. Go to Marinelands website and read about the filter. I have one on the same tank and love it. By the way try to keep the ink out the tank and welcome to the the boards.
