I have one myself, however, I wish I had gotten the 29 gallon. Go bigger if you can.

do you have to have the biocube? i got the nanobuce hqi 28 gallon and it's everything i ever wanted. google it. From my exprience: probably the best nano out there today. but it does get a litte hot as in 84 degrees max

I have a 29G. It is my first SW and all in all I am happy with it. I have had the following issues.
Ballast went bad after 1.5 months (replaced by Oceanic)
Top door hing cracked but still works
Had to widen the cutout from chaber 1 & 2 to increase water flow
Charcoal prefilter is worthless in my opinion. I threw mine out and put LR in place of the bioballs. I use filter floss on top of the LR in chamber 2 for the prefilter. I clean or replace the filter floss every week and so far so good.
The good points
Minimal evaopartion
Realatively quiet
The lighting seems pretty good
The glass is 1mm thicker than Aquapod
5 gallons bigger than AP (by spec anyway)
Rear chambers are fairly versitile
The stand looks nicer than most that I have seen
The demensions of the tank (like most cubes) allows for a nice looking reef without touching the glass with the rocks. The back of the display area is plastic and rocks can be placed against it if you want.
It is very clean looking.

I have a 29. I have taken the hood off and put on a Sunpod 150 watt MH. I have widened the slot from chamber 1 to 2 and replaced the stock sump pump with a Rio 6hf.
I love the tank. I like the cube design and the all in one style, but to tell you the truth if I were doing it again I would buy an AGA and make it into an all in one myself.

i have the biocube 14.
i run it as is (yanked out that filter cartridge and used filter floss).
i love it.
for where i have my tank, the 29 would have been too much. (i downsized from a 40g).
i change out 1 gal of water ever 2-3 days.
