biology research paper

hey everyone. i will be having to write a research paper on a biology topic. this paper must be at least 15 pages long. can you guys help me with ideas for a topic. i need to turn in a proposal by 1/23 so please help. so far i thought maybe
-soft coral farming
-hermaphrodite marine life
(can you guys tell me what species of fish/inverts belong in this category)
-ciguetara
-...???

this would be an interesting topic. there are several species that are hermaprhodites clowns and a few species of angels is all i can think of right now.

btw i heard some wrasses, and gobies are too. im not too sure though.

Wrasses are very interesting, and would make a good subject for a paper. Wrasses exhibit protogyny, which means that in a group of wrasses there will be one dominant male. If that male dies, the most dominant female will become male, and rule the group. And so on, and so on, and so on...

groupers are another species...as they have harims...if you do that make sure you include protandry...and i cant think of what the other name is right now it is another type of -andry but it is when males turn to females....there is also a type of deepsea angler where the male infuses with the female...it will be hard to get 15 pages on just hermaphrotism so i did mine on...sexual selection/behavior
