Bioluminescence!

Learning about bioluminescence today in biology, we touched on algae, but only for a moment. I remembered reading about the bioluminescent algae in the ocean and I wondered if that would be possible to grow in the home aquarium.
Before you read further, realize that I do not want to use my own tank for experimentation, so don't think that's what I'm getting at.
I found this, it may help you clear up some things...and figure out what I'm talking about.

So obviously even at night time, the algae would not glow. You would have to disturb it to get it to light up.
Pros? Cons?
Ever heard of this in a tank?
Am I crazy?
What do you think?

The aquarium at the zoo here in Omaha, Ne has a bioluminescent display, but I'm sure it took a lot of work...

I was just wondering if it was possible. I don't see why not. Anyone want to try it

Tell me how that goes.

if you could grow this algae in suffcient concentrations a powerhead would surly agitate it enough to cause the bioluminence. what a show after the lights went out.
