Bird Wrasse

Well this weekend I found the girl for my green bird wrasse. I was at a LFS and found a brown bird wrasse. Well knowing that female should have been added to the tank first this was risky. I took the female home and acclimated her. Placed here in a large specimen container and floated her in the tank so the male could see her for about and 2 hours. The male came up and checked her out and made no dominating moves toward here. So I let her out into the tank. She was fine
, they swim side by side. I guess I got a little lucky.

I was wondering if I could have more the one female in the tank? I think I read that you can have 1 male and 2 females to a tank.

You can have more than one female, but it is not that easy, the problem is females can become males. So if you have two females, and one turns male, than one of the males have to go, or they will fight. You normally need a very large tank to get away with this.
