Birds nest back from the dead????

I got this frag a while back and was growing good them one day it was all broke up and i picked out what i could find and glued back to the rock well in a few days it was all white so i figured it was dead now the last week it was started coming to life at some of the tips and even has started to branch on one the one you can see in the far left it was just the 2 branches on the tip now the last 2 or 3 days it has a third i thought it was all dead to start with and now seeing signs of life is this a normal thing with these?

Not unheard of especially if you can keep the algae from growing on the skeleton. Does look like you are getting some new growth there.

What's the little thing growing in the center?
I know I have some in my 54G....but CAN NOT remember their names

pseudocorynactis a corallimorph. The sting from that could have been the downfall of the birdsnest.

The ones that I have are all in caves....are they anything to worry about?

No but the proximity of that to the birdsnest could be a problem.

on where the main stock was to start with there is algae i may use a tooth brush to ty and remove it and the little corallimorph? has only been there a about 2 days i've never had them hurt anything else had one in a bunch of zoos never hurt them but i know sps are diffrant and i'm pretty sure it was the speed demon sailfin that broke it up to start with
