Black Algae?

I've had my tank running for about 4 months. I have a few feather dusters, clown fish, anenome and snails. In the past few weeks I have had an outbreak of blackish algae. The snails wont touch it and it's growing at a pretty decent rate. Any non-chemical suggestions to get rid of it?

Is it black or a really deep red color? If it's the latter, it's cyanobacteria. Do a search at the top of the page... there's a lot of good information about it and getting rid of it. :D

It's definetly black. It's growing on sand, rock and tank in low flow area. All tests have come back perfect- tested daily.

Post your water parameters and lighting anyway, someone here may see something that you may have overlooked. Also, get a picture if you can as that may help.
