black banded eel?

I have picked up this wonderful creature for $30 at a lfs. Its eating frozen krill like theres no tomorrow hes about 18" long and doing very well for a week now my question is how big will he get? I can't seem to find any info on him. Also what type of lion is this? I think it's a russelli.

Would you happen to have a pic of the eel? I think you might be talking about the banded snake eel which is yellowish white with narrow black rings around it, if so they get to be about 30 inches. The lion definately looks to be a Russell's.

Thank's I'm happy to say he ate his first silver side today it was sticking half way out his mouth but he ate it. I'm very pleased.
Does any one know about the eel I'm tring to find out any info on him so I can keep him in good health. He does eat good when he unburries himself.
