black edged moray....

i cant find any info---i need info on their sucess in a 55...and anything one can give me ty

the black edge should do fine in a 55 gallon, it comes from the caribbean, it will accept amlost any type of food, and will attack fish (but just about any eel will do that) they are smaller closer to the size of the snowflake. the scientific name would be gymnothorax nigromarginatus, hopefully that will help in finding information about them

in my experiance these have to be one of the most aggresive eels I have ever seen or had they are mean as hell. Just remember that when you put your hands in the tank. There are others that are alot less mean and better tank inhabitents then the black edge viper.
