Black ich or something else?

My hippo got some white spots. I assumed it was ich, but then the white spots became black spots. Could this be from my Scarlet Skunk Cleaner picking ich off him? I think my PBT is getting ich (white) as well. Both are fat, eating and active.

Are those black spots raised? Look like ich, only black? You should begin Hyposalinity for the ich. Formalin bathes is the treatment for black spot.

The black spots don't looked raised. They seem bigger then ich as well. The white is definitely raised.

It looks like there is s little bit of ich on my royal gramma as well. The question is do I try to catch all of my fish and transfer them to another tank for hypo or just the infected.
If I do transfer them all, I'm going to need to buy a decent sized QT/HT tank. I don't think I could put even one of those tangs in a 10 gallon for a month.
1 x Powder Blue Tang
1 x Hippo Tang
1 x Royal Gramma
2 x Clown
1 x Pygmy Angel
1 x Niger Trigger
3 x Green Chromis
1 x Yellow Watchmen Goby

I had similar problem, I think we finally had it diagnosed as Marine Velvet. Fish had white spots then appeared as black spots, all in all I lost 15 fish before I was able to treat the whole tank with RALLY, which is invert safe. Had a puffer and sailfin tang which were on their death bed and overcame the disease and are still alive today, albeit my sailfin has a notch in his head where a secondary infection occurred from the disease. I swear by the stuff! good luck, it sucks losing fish

Those spots are not marine velvet. Likely both white and black ich.
All fish need treatment. Hypo works for white ich. Formalin bathes work for black ich.
