Black or Blue backing?

What backround paper do you have in your reef tank?
I have blue right now, but I'm still cycling the tank, I think i want to switch to black, or maybe a really dark blue? :notsure:

I have black. I like the way everything stands out against the black background.

I originally put the blue up, but after hearing that the colors of the fish would stand out more, and there would be more depth given to the aquarium, I switched to black. You should be able to buy a sheet of backing that has the blue on one side and black on the other so you can try it for yourself.

I dont have a backing because mine was made for it to be seen at all angles

I painted mine black because it matched the overflows and I'm going with black sand.
