Black sand, Powerheads and Magnet Cleaners....

If you have had NO problems, it would be great if you post what brand sand you use and whether or not you use a Magnetic Cleaner or Powerheads.
If you've had problems, again if you could list the brands used (sand/powerhead/magnet cleaner) and include as much detail as you can in a post.
There's not problems with the composition of black sand.... I dont want to start that speculation.

I use Tahitian black moon sand with a mag float. I only get a few grains attached to the mag float when I accidently go below the sand line.

Yes, I have 2 Koralia 4's in a 180g. About to add a 3rd!

San Deigo black sand, and its alright that I took it, it was a quater of a bucket.

I use black live sand in my 24g with no problem wat so ever. I have a K#2 powerhead and a small magfloat.

Oh and. I use caribsea live black sand 20lb.

I use the Caribsea live black sand. I have a 120 pounds of it in my 125. I have 4 powerheads and have had none of the problems from above. The first couple of weeks my Golden Headed Sleeper Gobie dropped the sand on the rocks but now it just rolls off and falls back down to the bed.
