black spots

Hi. I am a newbie. I have a couple fish with just one or two black spots on them. One is a clown, the other a damsel. I don't have a QT at this time. My 'fish person' said to use this stuff called Quick Cure. Actually I used it in the past to clear up a real bad case of ick and 'everyone' survived. Any opinions?
Thanks!

Do you have anemones or corals? Clownfish in particular can develop black spots (hypermelanism) from being stung as they get used to corals.
If the black spots are much smaller and look like salt grains, you may have black ich. This requires formalin baths.
There are pictures of both of these conditions in the diseased fish sticky at the top of this forum. Please try not treat the display tank with medications.
