Nah...just get a Knox (sp?) Angelfish. Its a dwarf species that gets only 4" rather than 10" and is also reef safe, most of the time. Same is true with the tangs. Plus a Knox is only about 25 bucks tops as opposed to 300. JMO
They are an extremely rare fish. However, they are also not very hardy, like similiar speces (Yellow,Scopas, Purple, etc.) Awesome looking when they get larger though!
If you have the money, it is worth it in my opinion. Why limit your tank to what everyone else has in their tank. I saw one of these BLACK TANGS at a LFS in Colorado and it was about 7 in.
. WOW is all I can say. It is always nice to have a rare fish in your ST. I say go for it
Zebrasoma rostratum They are found only near a few of the Polynesian Island, And collection is regulated.
As hardy as any Zebrasoma but very aggressive like the Scopas, IMO
