In all other sites as of sometime ago, I retired from the name of Dragon Moray Eels and so I normally no longer assist on something as an eel question anymore, but we are in here were if one other hobbyist who thinks to be a specialist.
Now you will hear differ I think for one other here at swf said to another that this eel you have grows some 30" but it really grows around 38-39" as a full grown adult and will attack most anything when hungry.
Also just for this eel a lone should have a tank as large as a 150 for it too as a number of some other species is an active swimmer and also you need before it becomes more homely, give it a large hiding spot with LR for before you know it, it will attack the hand which feeds it.
I hope that your a tight lid on this tank. Also do get yourself a strong feeding stick and if you value the fish in this tank, you either get the eel out or the fish, and please don`t wait too long to do that.

Mine is doing well so far. He seems to be minding his own little area and nothing is messing with him. He is also eating well so only time will tell what is going to happen . If anything does go wrong then I will have to catch him out of there and then trade him in to the fish store and get a Zebra or snowflake

After looking around and soing some searching I have found out that there are some very small diffrences in these two but the fact that mine has the black lines on the dorsal fin that are spotted and and not in a continous line as that Blackedge moray is.

im not andy but here is what i found on him for you .

this is the black edge moray/also known as the honeycomb and a few other common names.
not much info is given on this particular eel such as spacific diet ect but you will find the size max ect on him there 60 cm a smaller species of moray..
as with any eel species, all of them can be highly aggresive towards tankmates it will depend on each indevidual fish .. as andy stated above about the ones in the LFS being so aggressive they would attack the glass to attack anyone that aproaches the tank,my tess reacted this very same way the day we purchased him to be honest this eel scared the carp outta me :scared: ..now that i have had him for a while he doesnt scare me at all a proper diet and a little respect for him seams to go along way.but yes i have and do put my hands in this eels tank with no fears of being attacked anymore..unless hes hungry thats a different story all together.. just keep him well fed and keep a close eye on your tank if you see any signs of aggresiion from him or any other fish then def take imediate action.
