HA, you can wait for ck all you want but his mentality is like petcos,cheaper fish for a reason! they want to sell it faster so it dies in your tanks and not in theirs!

i rode my boys r1. man did i love that sht. but after seeing your toys, i am goign to take your advice. but, even if you negate my dream bike, im still gona get it.

I had an 04 R1. Its junk man. They look great. By far the best looking out there. But just junk. Handle like crap. No midrange. They scream up top but you dont stay up top all the time unless you wanna be 6 feet under.
I have nothing to say about the 1098R. I have read the reviwes. Its an amazing machine I know that much. I have never ridden one or owned one. But Ducati knows what its doing.

nice bikes, as far as the lion goes the blackfoot is a smaller lion, and they do prefer cold water. They are also very difficult to get feeding, and have a dismal survival rate in captivity. They are by far the most difficult lion to keep, and even don't do well under expert care. You may want to consider a different lion. I have not seen one available on this site in a couple of years, and have only seen a few at the lfs.
