the stars with that combination of fish is spelled LUNCH LOL
mainly for the tusk but I think the grouper might eat on them to not sure though.
as far as the sand this is off another site that I cant link to but when inputting your deminsions and the depth that you want this is what it comes up with.
You will need approximately 180 pounds of sand
to achieve a 4 inch depth in a 48 x 18 inch tank
assuming the sand weighs 90 pounds per cubic foot
and
* According to CaribSea,
"Most all the aragonites weigh 70 lbs/cubic foot.
The Aragamax, Aragamax Select, and Aragamax Grand Bahama
weigh about 90-100 lbs/cubic foot."
so with the 70 lbs/cubic foot this is what it says you will need
You will need approximately 140 pounds of sand
to achieve a 4 inch depth in a 48 x 18 inch tank
assuming the sand weighs 70 pounds per cubic foot
hope this helps a little

i think you have a 55 gallon, similar to mines, i personally think that a lion, grouper, and a harlequin tusk would outgrow your tank or be too crowded together in that small of a tank. Snowflake eel would be fine as long as you close the tops and maybe a dwarf lion. Starfishes are very hard to keep and should be left to experts.

ENTICE as matter of fact I think he has a 100g tank which is too small for these fish.... Unless he plans an upgrade

yes the tank is 105 gallons and do you all feel that the tank is too small for the full grown fish individually or do you feel it is too many....i do know that the miniatas grouper will outgrow the tank
