bleached zoas

sometime last week i found a zoa frag i completely forgot i had behind some rock. of course, the zoas are completely bleached. will they ever regain their original color? how long will it take? they used to be very pretty.

Put them in the light and hope for the best... its up to the coral at this point but if any of the symboitic algae is alive still -- should pull through imo.

Maybe; it could take a long time however. I've seen some that haven't regained their color in over a year.

I had some AOG's and pinks that bleached after a tank move.Place your zoas in good flow,and under lighting.Now dont place them under the lights to were they get burnt. Place them in a place where they get good light but not 100% light. U will notice they will come back around.when u do...move them under the lights 100% and they should be back to normal. I hope this makes since and works for u...i did for me...and mine went to WHITE...and they look normal now.Good Luck
