bleaching..too much white light???

I have a 55 gallon tank, standard dimensions.
I have a 48 inch 6x 54 watt TEK light T5HO fixture
i have this bulb configuration
Blue Bulbs
1. ATI blueplus
2. Giesman
3. ATI blueplus
White Bulbs
1. Aquablue special whitest
2. UV 75-25
3. x1 54W 10000K AquaSun T5 HO Fluorescent by: UV lighting
the tank seems very white, and if any corals are at the higher parts of my tank, they bleach : /
everything that is lower does great.
i was wondering if i should try some different bulbs

What kind of corals do you keep?? I think six bulbs are great for sps and some lps. The bulb selection you listed is mostly of higher par bulbs. You may want to go with a four bulb configuration as to not melt softies or at least go to two actinic bulbs in your six bulb configuration, that will bring the par down.

u have to much light imo. a 4x54w will keep sps where ever u want, i would get any color u want and not worry abour par, u have it no matter what.

with the 3 actinics you have def dropped your light levels to a more acceptable level for a 55. if you have bleaching issues with your sps in the lower half of your tank with that combo you might have to start watching your alk levels. when your alk is not stable you can have bleaching issues.
