blending

I know you can put mushrooms in a blender but what about polyps or anything else? Maybe a chunk of toadstool? they grow from pretty small frags.

Don't waste your time. Focus on learning to frag if you don't do it already. It's more rewarding and faster.
Instead of blending a toadstool, if you want 100, just cut it into 100 pieces. Blending will probably kill off a lot of flesh in the process. Cutting it is just as easy, less messy and more reliable.
But could it be done? Most likely.

It would not work for polyps - possibly a toadstool.

yea, it may work on a toadstool, but i would just use a rzor blade. it wont work for polyps.
